Calendered Films

Reagens produces a wide range of stabilisers and additives for the production of Calendered and Extruded Films.

PVC calendered films are manufactured with different composition to achieve different mechanical characteristic (films can be rigid, semi-rigid or flexible, transparent or opaque) and by using different technological equipment.

The selection of the appropriate stabiliser depends on several parameters:

• the final application for the film
• the performance requested to the film
• the type of available manufacturing equipment to be used
• the legal requirements on the final article (Food contact approval for example)

Available stabilisers compositions are different and the performance of the final articles are effected by the stabiliser’s selection.
