Secondary Antioxidants

Reagens produces a wide range of stabilisers and additives for the production of different than PVC polymers, the most important one being the Thioesters.

Thioesters, called also secondary antioxidants, are important to slow down the degradation of the polymers by reacting with the hydroperoxides created during the oxidation process; they can regenerate the efficiency of the primary antioxidants with a synergistic effect, allowing the reduction of their dosage.
