Reagens, one of the world’s leading suppliers of additives for thermo-plastics, is very pleased to announce today the formation of a new joint-venture with Indofil, part of the K K Modi Group, with headquarters in Mumbai, a long-established business in Crop protection products and Specialty Chemicals wherein specialty portfolio includes acrylic processing aid and impact modifiers for thermo-plastics. The new company will be known as Indo-Reagens Plastics Additives Pte. Ltd.
The continuous growth of the business also at our premise in San Giorgio di Piano lead Reagens SpA to an optimization of the internal logistics. After having identified a suitable area and with a constructive debate with the Authorities, Reagens involved a leading company in the field of logistics: as a result, a new retractable warehouse with single span was built with a width larger than any commonly used standard.
We’re glad to announce the incorporation of Reagens Varteco Brasil.
Reagens Varteco Brasil is managed by Mr. Antonio Cesar Christofoletti, who has a long experience in the local PVC market.
Reagens had a strong presence at the 84th annual British Plastics Federation dinner which was held at the London Lancaster Hotel located near Hyde Park. This is a key event in the BPF calendar and there was a record attendance at the event of over 500 people.
We are pleased to announce that since August 1st, Mr. José Garrido has joined Reagens team within Reagens Ibérica. José has a long technical, commercial and management experience in PVC & PO and ancillary industries, and is therefore a well known manager in our core market. We wish José a long and successful experience within Reagens and we are sure that his contribution will make Reagens even stronger.
