The continuous growth of the business also at our premise in San Giorgio di Piano lead Reagens SpA to an optimization of the internal logistics. After having identified a suitable area and with a constructive debate with the Authorities, Reagens involved a leading company in the field of logistics: as a result, a new retractable warehouse with single span was built with a width larger than any commonly used standard.
The entire work required 2 months and only 2 weeks were needed for the installation of the warehouse. The structure is made of galvanized steel and the forged steel wheels, with double ball bearings and vacuum tight, roll onto two parallel tracks installed over a wall of reinforced concrete to avoid any accidental damage during the handling of the goods.
As a cover, Reagens required the use a self-extinguishing PVC roofing membrane (Class 1) according with our Safety Policy. The sites of Reagens, such as San Giorgio di Piano, are certified according to highest standards, including OHSAS 18001.
