The grand opening ceremony was held on November 4th, with the presence of authorities such as the Deputy Governor of San Luis Mr. Carlos Ponce, the Environment Minister Mr. Cristian Moleker; the Secretary of San Luis Logistics Mrs. Graciela Corvalán and the Mayor of San Luis Mr. Enrique Ponce.
Many customers coming from Argentina and other Southeramerican countries have attended to the ceremony, visited the new facility and celebrated the event with the traditional "asado".
We are pleased to announce that, effective August 1st, 2016, Dr. Harnish Shah has been appointed as Reagens USA President.
In April 2016, during the 4th Vinyl Sustainability Forum in Vienna, our President Dr. Nanni was interviewed on the journey of the Lead stabilizers replacement in Europe.
Dr. Nanni is President of the European Stabiliser Producers Association (ESPA), that is a pan-European trade association representing more than 95% of the stabilizer industry across Europe. ESPA is an affiliated member of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council.
Challenge 3 – ESPA members had completed the replacement of lead-based stabilisers in all their formulations sold in the EU-28 market.
Top-level speakers at the event, organised by VinylPlus, the sustainable development programme of the European PVC industry, include Stephan Sicars, Director Environment Department, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
